rain, rain, go away

Today was such a gloomy day.

No pictures today because we just hung around in our PJs and there just wasn't anything extraordinary. Looking back now though I kind of regret that I didn't get a single one.

Morgan was pretty lazy today. She woke up a little over an hour earlier than she normally does and it made for a lazy day. She played some but mostly she just sat around watching her Elmo DVD's. Poor thing. She just couldn't get going this morning and in the evening we had some really bad weather and she was pretty scared of the thunder and lightning flashes. Every time it would thunder she'd grab on to me like something was going to get her and whine "Mooooommmy". I couldn't even peel her off to take a bath. Oh well, it wasn't worth a battle or any tears shed. It's hailing pretty bad right now and there is a Tornado watch / warning for our area. I just hope Morgan is able to sleep through it.

I began the Jillian Micheal's: 30 Day Shred DVD today. Oh My God. She totally kicked my butt. At one point, a little over half way through, the XBox had trouble reading the DVD for almost a full minute and I was so thankful. Ahhh, it was a miracle! I literally thought I'd die and that was the beginner level! I have a feeling it's going to take me more than a week to work up to Level 2. I am determined to stick with this though. I refuse to cry when it gets to be time for swimsuits and cute tops! Morgan is 20mths old now and I can't blame it on "the baby weight" anymore. I'm owning it now and I'm doing something about it.
