The bulb on our TV completely died without warning.. during ELMO! It was tragic. Seriously, TRAGIC. Morgan screamed and cried like I'd beat her. She was so pitiful and was convinced that I could fix it. I know that she was because between shrieks and sniffles she whined "fiss it". It didn't take very long for me to decide that we weren't going to last long like this. JC suggested that we go run a couple of errands and maybe go to WalMart. Sure that meant we were going to be gone during lunch time but at this point I was ready to try anything. She wasn't pleased with getting into the car but once we got going she was fine. :)
We had fun at WalMart browsing the store... killing time. :) Morgan got a couple of new hats for the spring since she still hates any form of barrette or bow I'm just going with this hat thing. She grabbed them off of the hook and put it on in the store with the tag still on. HaHa. It looked too cute on her to say no. I'm weak like that. :)

See? Super cute! :)
She napped whenever we got home and thankfully the time she was awake without TV was spent eating, bathing or playing in her room and she didn't notice again. Whew.
I am so incredibly thankful that JC had already ordered a replacement bulb months ago for just this reason because apparently when the bulb in the TV goes out it doesn't give a warning.. it's just like a light fixture in the house.. one minute it works and the next you're in the dark. JC was able to install it whenever he got home tonight. He is our HERO!! :)
Tomorrow morning, whenever I hit that little red button on the remote and it comes on, it will not go unappreciated! I will never again take TV for granted. Oh, how we love Sesame Street.. and super cute little girls in pink hats with bows! :)
